Property developer HBD has chosen Leeds for its seventh UK office, part of a growth strategy which has already seen its commercial pipeline rise by £600m to £1.6bn in the last year alone.
The development arm of the Henry Boot Group of Companies, HBD delivers large-scale urban regeneration projects in key cities, as well as strategic employment sites throughout the UK. Headquartered in Sheffield, it has offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
HBD will move into Park Square East, Leeds city centre. The news follows HBD’s recent brand overhaul, revealing a new identity that better reflects the business, its strategy and its people.
Ed Hutchinson, Managing Director at HBD, said: “As our northern pipeline continues to grow, a presence on the ground in Leeds brings those projects within easier reach, while allowing us to continue attracting top talent. The market in Leeds has continued to perform well, and we’ve no doubt it will prove a successful location for HBD.”
2019 has been a successful year for HBD, with numerous large projects underway throughout the UK. The developer is currently delivering several major projects across the North, including the North East’s vast 370-acre International Advanced Manufacturing Park, designated nationally significant for its potential to transform UK industry
